    Let's not forget, Mortgage Electronic Registrations Systems (MERS) is the Big Banks' pet and makes it so easy to steal a home, since as soon as you sign a mortgage with MERS, the lender can walk away knowing that the loan will be sold immediately - NO ASSIGNEE LIABILITY for anyone who takes your loan after closing (ie, MERS) - so if your house was overappraised and were duped into a loan you can't afford you are out of luck if you have a MERS mortgage, since your mortgage was assigned at closing!

    Nice trick the Banks did, let's make them PAY for our houses since they made the houses unsaleable at closing!
